Threat Evaluation

Here at International Global Security, we realize that companies and organizations of all types and sizes face a variety of environmental, criminal and political threats. The ability for management to properly determine the probability of occurrence and the impact of any threat is crucial to the development of proper strategies to neutralize the threat and minimize the risks for your business or Organization. This is where International Global Security Consulting’s unique Crisis Management and Threat Assessment program comes in. Our program assists company managers in evaluating the impact and probability of potential criminal, environmental and political threats.

Once the threats are properly identified, that are classified into levels that reflect the seriousness of the consequences. International Global Security Consultants then assist the company in developing a strategic contingency plan to deal with the identified threat in an orderly,  systematic way. This process is an essential factor in helping companies meet their requirements for emergency preparedness.

International Global Security has developed the Threat/Impact Grid illustrated above. It is the tool that is used to measure the probability of a threat occurring against the effect it would have should it occur. Once a threat has been positioned on the grid, it is assigned a value between 1 (Highest) and 5 (Lowest). The value helps determine the action steps required to deal with the threat.

Crisis Management

Crisis Management is an organized orderly approach to managing crisis situations. It is the natural offshoot of the threat assessment process. There are two elements to crisis management: Management Structure and Managing the Crisis. International Global Security consulting experts have the experience to assist companies and organizations in implementing these programs.
